Rule and Discipline

1. General Conduct

1. All students must maintain discipline, dignity and decorum inside and outside the campus.
2. Students shall behave respectfully towards teachers, staff members and fellow students.
3. Any act of indiscipline, misconduct or violence will invite strict disciplinary action.

2. Attendance Rules

1. Students must maintain at least 75% attendance in each subject.
2. Students with shortage of attendance may not be allowed to appear in examinations.
3. Medical leave must be supported by valid documents.

3. Dress Code

1. Students must wear decent and appropriate dress within the campus.
2. Uniform (if prescribed) must be worn on specified days.
3. Any indecent or objectionable attire is strictly prohibited.

4. Anti-Ragging Policy

1. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited as per Government rules.
2. Students involved in ragging will face suspension, rustication or legal action.
3. Complaints can be made confidentially to the Anti-Ragging Committee.

5. Campus Discipline

1. Use of mobile phones inside classrooms is strictly prohibited.
2. Smoking, alcohol consumption and drug use are strictly banned in campus.
3. Damage to college property will result in penalty and disciplinary action.

6. Examination Rules

1. Students must carry valid Identity Card during examinations.
2. Use of unfair means in examination will lead to cancellation of paper.
3. Students must follow all university and college examination guidelines.

7. Library Rules

1. Silence must be maintained in the library.
2. Books must be returned within the prescribed time.
3. Loss or damage of books must be compensated.

8. Use of College Property

1. College property must be handled carefully.
2. Writing on walls, desks or damaging equipment is punishable.

9. Identity Card

1. Every student must carry College Identity Card daily.
2. ID Card must be shown whenever demanded by authorities.

10. Disciplinary Action

The principal reserves the right to take disciplinary action including warning, fine, suspension or expulsion against students violating college rules.
